Add Startup Notes to Sprout

Step 1. On any page within your program, you will see the Sprout circle icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click the Sprout button to upload documents and add logs.

After clicking the Sprout button, a panel will appear on the right side of your screen.


Step 2. To upload notes, first select the startup you would like to add the log to from the dropdown menu.


Step 3. Once you have selected the target startup, choose the type of note you would like to upload. The available note types are Memo, Meeting, Check-in, and Mentor.

After selecting the note type, choose whether to upload the content as a file or enter the information as text.


Step 4. Once you have selected the note type and chosen whether to upload a file or enter text, click “Let Sprout Analyze.” After Sprout completes the analysis of the uploaded document or text, the Sprout button will turn green to indicate that the analysis is complete.



Step 5. Click the Sprout button to view the suggested updates for the startup profile. The suggestions will appear at the top of the panel.

Review each suggested SWOT insight and choose whether to select, approve, or skip each item. After reviewing all suggestions, click “Approve Selected” to add the selected insights or click “Reject” to discard the suggestions.




Step 6. Below the SWOT suggestions, you will find Sprout’s recommendations for adding tasks, creating or updating KPIs, and updating matching progress.

Review each suggestion carefully and select the items you would like to implement on the startup page. Users can select or deselect individual suggestions before applying them.

After reviewing the suggestions, choose one of the following options:

  • Approve All” to apply all suggestions.

  • Approve Selected” to apply only the selected suggestions.

  • Reject” to discard all suggestions.



Step 7. Once you have reviewed the suggestions and either approved or rejected them, all updates will be recorded in the “Startup Logs” tab.

Users can filter the displayed logs by type using the filter options at the top of the page.
