WBS stands for Work Breakdown Structure. It is a project management tool that breaks a project into smaller, manageable components. Instead of managing a project as a single large task, WBS organizes the work into milestones, tasks, and subtasks, making it easier to plan activities, assign responsibilities, and track progress.
On Canopy, milestones are displayed as navy-colored bars, while tasks under each milestone are displayed in different colors based on their progress status. A gray task bar indicates that the task has not yet started, a blue task bar indicates that the task is currently in progress, and a green task bar indicates that the task has been completed.
