Add a Task Under a Milestone in WBS

Step 1. Hover your mouse over the milestone where you would like to add a task. Once you hover over the milestone, a “+” button will appear next to the milestone name. 



Step 2. Click the “+” button to add a task under the selected milestone. You will be prompted to enter the task name, start date, end date, and person in charge of the task. All users who have been invited by the admin and have access to the program will be displayed as available assignees. You can assign no one, one person, or multiple people to be responsible for the task.


Step 3. Once you have confirmed the task information, click “Add” to create the task under the selected milestone. You can add multiple tasks under each milestone. After adding a task, it will appear as a gray bar below the corresponding milestone bar. The initials of the assigned person(s) in charge will also be displayed next to the task name.


Step 4. Once progress has been made on a task, you can update its status by clicking on the task bar and dragging it to the right.
